The Judy McCarty Dairy Learning Center Scholarship Fund was established to honor Judy’s lifelong commitment to education, community service, transparency, and her passion for nurturing the next generation of dairy leaders. Through this fund, Judy’s legacy of mentorship, learning, and unwavering support for youth in agriculture continues to inspire and empower future innovators.
Scholarship Information
Thanks to the generous support of our sponsors, we are pleased to announce that applications are now open for the Judy McCarty Dairy Learning Center Scholarships.

This year, we are offering two $1,500 scholarships to students pursuing a degree in agriculture, education, or an agriculture-related field.
These scholarships are designed to support students who demonstrate academic excellence, leadership, and a passion for the future of agriculture—especially those interested in careers related but not limited to the dairy industry, production, nutrition, manufacturing, education, marketing, ag law, business, communications, agronomy, veterinary medicine, research, or environmental sciences.
Requirements

Current college student or graduating high school senior enrolled or actively seeking full-time enrollment (minimum 12 credit hours per semester) in an accredited post-secondary institution

Must be a resident of Northwest Kansas (Thomas, Sheridan, Cheyenne, Scott, or Sherman counties)

Cumulative GPA of 3.0+

Must submit 500+ word essay
